julia I cherish the preservation of  Julia Child’s kitchen, whipping up culinary delights in her Boston kitchen where it all began — for her TV Show.  Great food tips, secrets and ideas can be found at an obscure sea shanty on the Atlantic coast to someone’s kitchen at home in Spain or Australia.  This is my quest —–>to find marvelous recipes, food tips and exciting cooking methods. We are happy to share these discoveries with you.
Huckleberry Finn rafting on the Mississippi River — looking for adventure!
cropped-huckleberry-finn-raft “We said there was no home like a raft. Other places do seem so cramped up and smothery…but you feel mighty free and easy and comfortable on a raft.” Sail down the Mississippi with Huck Finn and the runaway slave, Jim.”..from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

At the Huckleberry Pi office, we like to akin ourselves to  Huckleberry Finn.  Huck Finn was a lovable rascal who had to see the world. We too will travel the world and hope to stumble upon some really great recipes!

The “Huckleberry PI” Award ‘blog‘ will bring some surprises — kitchens of executive chefs — at home. What is a favorite recipe they like to eat at home – and – why?
Nostalgia: The Academy Award winning song Moon River   may have been about someone like  — Huckleberry Finn.
